1. Basic Information and Affiliation: 
Basic Information: Liu Zongke, male, born May, 1962. Master. Professor. Master tutor. 1985 graduated “Irrigation and Drainage Engineering” in Dept. of Water Conservancy, Northwest Agricultural College. 1997 got the Master’s Degree. 
Affiliation: Member of the Chinese Mechanics Committee; Member of the China Water Resources Society; Evaluation bidding Expert of the water conservancy and hydropower project construction in Shaanxi Province.. 

2．Major Research Direction 
Design theory of hydraulic structure; Durability of hydraulic materials and structure health diagnosis and restore technology; Canal lining waterproofing technology. 

3．Teaching Courses 
Up to now, he has lectured more than 5 courses for the bachelor student and postgraduate students. Major teaching the courses of “Building materials”, “Civil engineering materials ” and “Hydraulic reinforced concrete structure”, “Hydraulic steel structure”, “Concrete structure” and “Hydraulic new building materials”for the postgraduate students. 

4．Scientific Research and Academic Achievements 
(1) Scientific Research Subjects 
From 1985 working to now, he has charged of the national as “Eleventh five”scientific support project as“Canal waterproofing new materials and technology”and 863 water saving special subject as “High efficiency water deliver technology and extension in canal irrigation areas” and the national project as “Integrated Canal waterproofing and antifreeze technologies” and so on. 
(2) Main Publications 
During present years, he has published more than 40 scientific papers early or late in the Journal of Hydraulic Engineering and Transactions of the Hydropower and so on, and Chief editor 2 textbooks and 1 professional book, Joint editor other 3 professional books. 
(3) Professional Contributions 
After worked to now, hard working the scientific research, 2005 finished project “Agricultural high efficiency water use technology and demonstration in northwest region” has obtained the National Second Class Prize for Sc. & Tech. Progress by the State Council of China；2004“High efficiency water deliver technology and extension in canal irrigation areas” has obtained the First-Class Prize for Sc.& Tech. Progress by the Shaanxi Province. 1999 the teaching result “Research the teaching difficulty, building the mechanics structure series courses teaching model” obtained the Second Teaching Prize by Shaanxi Province. 2002 “Hanger arch aqueduct” has obtained the Second Class Prize for Sc. & Tech. Progress by the Shaanxi Province.
